Walk of Honor
Visitors to the UL Lafayette campus enjoy looking for graduates' names on the Walk of Honor. The walkway, which begins near Martin Hall and surrounds the Quad, is paved with bricks engraved with graduates' names, arranged alphabetically by year.
The Walk of Honor began with an idea for the 1987 Alumni Association President Kenneth Ardoin. A groundbreaking was held in 1990. In 2013, the student-designed Quad makeover began, which includes installing thousands of more bricks. Locate your brick on the Walk of Honor during your next visit to campus.
About 1,900 students are graduated each fall and spring.
