Commencement Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony is a profound rite of passage. It is an exciting, and sometiems hectic day! The ceremony itself encompasses the history and tradition of the University. The University commends you for all of your hard-work and dedication to your academic studies. We are truly proud to have such accomplished Ragin' Cajun alumni and alumna. Commencement day is a joyous and celebratory day for both the University and our graduates.

Whether you are participating in the ceremony or cheering your graduate on, there's a chance you'll have questions about where to go and what to do. We invite you, your friends, your family, and members of the community, so make sure to prepare and share the appropriate information with your family and guest to ensure that the final celebration is one you will cherish for a lifetime!

Future Commencement Dates

The University hosts three Commencement ceremonies a year. We ask that you check the schedule in entirety to ensure that no event times/venues have changed from previous.
